People of God strengthened in Faith formation and equipped with Evangelization capacity to lead a more meaningful faith life. (Life enriched by the Word)

Our people face great challenges.  Our area is a war ravaged, internally displaced area.  The poverty level is highest in the country.  Insurgency and unending conflict make this region risky at the same time much in need of attention.   Apart from other needs people need to have a deeper faith since they are constantly faced with difficulties.  They also need to be carriers of the Good News of justice and reconciliation in an area for too long affected by conflict.

Building faith based Christian Basic communities, strengthened through meaningful worship and spiritual life (Worship).

Liturgy is a big challenge to our people. Even though there is a long history of Evangelization, the Catholics of Pyay diocese are still very young in their faith since updating is not available. Many of the faithful became Catholic just with a little knowledge of Faith. Some faithful do not know how to sing and how to pray meaningfully. Prayer is urgent need, but personal prayer methods and community prayer methods still need updating.
