Christians witness their faith through concern for the vulnerable and marginalized through Integral Human Development and charitable works.
Our social mission is challenged by the widespread poverty, war and displacement, political turmoil. The region needs a culture of peace. The region is poor, lacks job opportunities, forcing our youth to seek risky livelihood as migrants. Food security is a problem. Chronic illness affects children and the elderly. Gender issues threaten the dignity of women, at the risk of human trafficking since they lack livelihood skills. As Christians people are highly discriminated.
Land ownership, economic justice and environmental justice are neglected. People are exposed to too many risks. Sickness like leprosy is treated with stigmata families abandons the patients.
Education, primary and secondary, scholarships, boarding for poor girls, skill development programs.
Holistic health care is provided through preventive and curative approaches in Leprosy and HIV/Aids. Clinics and mobile clinics reach out to remote poor.
