Yangon Community

  • Yangon community is a province’s administration house.  However, since it is a community, there are a total of 8 sisters who are taking their individual roles. 
  • Province administration team, PLT is formed with four members including provincial. Province bursar, community leader and other two sisters are members of this Yangon community.
  • It is a welcoming home for all.  As the province’s administration house or provincialate,  it’s a kind of hospitality home where our sisters from different communities come and go almost every month for their various purposes. 
  • However, we are open to all and giving great service for the needs of our sisters. As it is a house with many people coming and going, the administration team is also trying to do their office work. PLT members are not able to be around every month due to their community visit.

Pastoral Involvement

  • Since this community is an administration house then we are not able to involve in the parish activities.

Education House (formally named)

  • We have another house. It is not far from the provincialate. It is just a five-minute walking distance. Last 15 years ago, it was a house where girls were accepted for accommodation who come from rural areas to attend training in Yangon for their vocational training.
  •  Now the country is in such a bad situation we cannot accept anyone. However, sometimes, if there are emergency patients or those who are facing difficulties are allowed to stay temporarily.
