Summer catechism was held at Minor Seminary for a week from 2nd to 7th April,2024 , it was organized by Fr. Mariano Hla Ko. The opening Holy Mass was led by Bishop Alexander Phyone Cho and most parish priests were presented there. The children came from 10 parishes, Pyay Ma zone. It was the first time of gathering for the children under PMS (Pontifical Missionary Societies). In this summer catechism, most professors were parish priests and St. Francis Xavier, Servite and Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions sisters (Sr.Rosa May Wah Thin) and MS religious priest were sharing about vocation, based on their congregations. One professor was from ECE (Episcopal Commission of Education) and Sr. Lucia Hla Yamin Swe (RNDM) shared ethic based on Catholic Teaching.

On the last day, Fr. Nel Nel the director of PMS and his secretory Sr. Judith (ZSLF) shared about the history of PMS and who initiated those societies. 

The summer catechism was run well by the grace of God though there were some challenges we faced. Thank you God for your great love and uncountable blessings which you had granted us from the beginning to the end of this summer catechism.
