St.Theresa Community (Oakshitpin)

Our Vision

Living our Charism authentically we, RNDM of St. Theresa’s community render services for the greater glory of God through various types of development works for the children, women, and people on the margin of society in the Parish of St.Theresa Oakshtipin, Pyay Diocese.

Our Mission

  • Provide board and lodging to girls from remote areas where middle schools or high schools are unavailable and health care given by sisters.
  • Early childhood education and development programs are organized by running pre-school.
  • In order to consentize women to participate in the parish activities and liturgies sisters organize prayer programmes ,shot seminars, and retreats for St.Ann’s Women Association.
  • A part from joining prayer groups with various intentions, teaching catechism, preparing for the reception of the sacraments, visiting families especially the sick are the sisters pastoral ministries.
  • Sisters take care of the parish church in order to create prayerful atmosphere, keep the compound clean and green and try to meet various needs for the celebrations and liturgies.
