Young women who show a genuine interest in our way of life are encouraged to live according to their situation our RNDM charism. At this stage, they will be introduced to the life of Euphrasie Barbier and the charism of our RNDM congregation and deepening their understanding of Myanmar culture. An Adequate educational level (Grade 12 completed) is required. The duration will be three years at this stage.
They are provided with a process that will help them to discover their deeper self, God and a greater understanding of their own motivation. During postulancy, they will experience a variety of formation experiences such as community life, pastoral experience, bible studies, programs for human development and growth, the nature of spirituality, prayer, spiritual direction and the charism of our Congregation. One year experience in postulancy is required.
At this stage, an intensive initiation into the life and charism of the RNDM Congregation begins through a holistic and integrated process, candidates will seek to prepare to a life of celibacy in communion with others, and to share with and listen to each other in faith and love and so to make a total gift of themselves to God. The period of the novitiate lasts for two years.
Through a holistic and integrated process, the Temporary Professed Sisters (TPs) are accompanied by committed RNDM women as they grow towards maturity and enter resolutely into the international missionary life of the Congregation in preparation for final commitment.
